In the middle of the woods...

When I first moved here after we married I got a job at the local library. I was the "floater" which meant each day of the week I was assigned to a different branch in one of the surrounding towns. Wednesdays I always dreaded! I was sent to an almost dead little town with hardly anything more than a gas station and the library. Today though, I returned to this town and unbelievably even found myself thinking "I could live here." Here is why...
Deep in the woods on the banks of the river is a little cabin.
With an amazingly chilling spring feed pool!
A dear lady from church lives there and invited the youth for an afternoon of fun in the refreshing water.
Ronnie, my big fish, hardly left the water.
The diving board provided endless entertainment.

And the cozy cabin was perfect for a relaxing Sunday afternoon!

Ronnie and I both agreed, that it would be wonderful to have such a retreat one day, even in what I thought was a horrible little town!

That water was so cold! It felt so so good! Pools ain't got nothing on this spring fed chill tank!

Oh my, that looks like a heavenly summer spot. I would love to pass the day floating in a frigid spring fed pool! And the setting is so shady and serene... love that screened in porch with the fans!

Boo has a book, 101 Things To Do Before Your Are 12. One of the adventures featured in the book is to swim in a true swimming hole. I'd say your place of fun qualifies. Wish we could've been part of the fun!

(I'm having a really hard time wrapping my brain around "Ronnie" -- somehow it's just not working for me!)

Growing up, I'd always call him Ronnie Alexander. Quite natural to me, really. :) (Can't remember at all where the Alexander came from. .. laugh)
