June

I dropped off the face of the blogging world in June. My apologies! What was I doing? This:

USA International Ballet Competition

I worked with their dance school specifically. It was hard work and long hours, but it was really neat to be involved with such a big event. One great benefit of working at the IBC was getting to go to all the performances!

Opening Night

The level of dancing was amazing. These are some amazingly talented dancers from all over the world! The following two pictures are 2 gold medal winners. They were taken by IBC photographer Richard Finkelstein.

Cao Shuci of China

Marcelino Sambe of Portugal

Ronnie was a good sport about coming to the shows with me, but it was easiest to get him to come when we got to go to swanky parties afterward! We enjoyed hobnobbing at the Governor's mansion, Bravo Italian restaurant, and at the Grand Prix Ball at the MS Museum of Art.

cool decorations that a friend's mom made!

Catering by the food editor of Mississippi Magazine- I hear we can look for an article on the spread

June was definitely busy but I enjoyed working along side these lovely ladies!

Now that it is over I am catching my breath, trying to get caught up in the couponing world, AND preparing for a move- that's right, a move! More to come on that later!!

Wow! I think I need to attend one of the next IBC performances--those look amazing! The parties are rather appealing, too!

Well hello! Nice to see you reappear. There is a certain nephew who is looking forward to having a certain uncle close to Bunny's house so they can go biking together.

Susie, you look so gorgeous in your gowns! You did an amazing job at your IBC this summer--def. a great experience that you will NEVER forget. The pictures are amazing, and I'm super proud of the Portuguese guy. Too bad the soccer players didn't have his winning skills. :)

Missed you on the blogosphere, but am glad you are back!
