Fall Centerpiece

On Sunday I went to a church women's lunch after the service. They had these cute centerpieces and I was happily given one to take home and enjoy! It is a mix of real and artificial flowers and leaves in oasis in the pumpkin. They even got resourceful and put lemon halves, leftover from cooking, on picks in the arrangement.

I recently saw a cute idea in Southern Living magazine that involved putting potted flowers and herbs in a pumpkin. Might have to try it out- in the meantime I will enjoy my blooming pumpkin and the scent of my pumpkin spice candle!

So glad you're enjoying it! I'm happy we could go to the luncheon.

Is it a real pumpkin? That's a fun idea - and I have some ceramic ones that would fit a small mum. Love luncheons!

That's fun . . . I saw that lemon half in there, and I was like, "Is that a lemon??" For some reason, I haven't been inspired to get my fall stuff out yet. Maybe a pumpkin spice candle would do the trick. Do you have much fall decor? I think I remember a post from last year . . . some cute stuff. Miss you.

-Yup it was a real pumpkin, but I woke up the other morning and the bottom was rotten and stunk so bad! haha

-Amanda- haven't really decorated for Fall either. I don't really have that many decorations.
